Jocelyn is a Partner at Builders VC. She leads the firm’s fundraising and investor relations strategy among her other responsibilities.
Jocelyn remains founding CEO of Verdura Capital, a family office with a sustainability mandate. She is also Co-Chair of Stanford’s Artificial Intelligence in Financial Technology Forum.
Prior to managing private capital, Jocelyn spent nearly two decades as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers advising technology companies in Silicon Valley, New York, and Hong Kong. With Jocelyn’s expertise in capital markets, her clients raised $30 billion in debt and equity financings. At Lehman, she built the firm’s Asian equity capital markets business from scratch into a franchise business. She knows how hard it is to go from zero to one, and then to scale.
Jocelyn has served on numerous corporate and non-profit boards. Jocelyn served on the Board and Audit Committee of Fidelity International. In addition, Jocelyn served on the Boards of Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund and the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art.
Jocelyn graduated with a BA in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School, where she won the Dean’s Merit Fellowship.
