Christina joins Builders VC with a background in some of the oldest industries around — healthcare, insurance and finance — making her ready to be a Builder. She’s driven to partner with founders who have their eyes set on changing the fabric of these industries.
Christina spent her career to date at the intersection of operational and strategic excellence utilizing insights of financial performance. Previously, she worked at Fortune 6, UnitedHealth Group, where she was the Chief Financial Officer for two lines of business, amounting to over $2.5 billion in revenues, and business planning for the largest segment of the company. Prior to healthcare, Christina worked at a private investment bank pioneering two investment theses on senior housing developments utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits and a new acquisition strategy on Midwest manufacturing companies.
Christina received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and interned across the healthcare entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Chicago area. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan while a student-athlete on the women’s soccer team.
